This October, Premium Service Brands, the parent company of Maid Right is leveraging its network of franchisees to fight against breast cancer. Throughout the month, the multi-brand franchisor is donating one percent of all recognized revenue to the University of Virginia Cancer Center, specifically towards breast cancer research. The UVA Cancer Center has been ranked in the top 10% of cancer treatment in the United States and is located near Premium Service Brands headquarters in Charlottesville, VA.
Breast cancer has affected just about everyone’s life in some way. Whether you’ve had it personally or a friend or family member has struggled with it, this is a cause that the majority of people can relate to. Franchise owner Belinda Wiesehan, lost her best friend to breast cancer after a decade-long fight. But her fight with the disease did not end there; a year later she herself was also diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully, Weisehan began radiation treatment in 2018 and by the end of the year, her cancer was in remission.
As an advocate for breast cancer awareness and research Weisehan said she is proud to be partnered with a company that is committed to supporting a fight that means so much to her personally.
Because Premium Service Brands is the parent company of six franchises, the recognized revenue contribution far exceeds what any one of our brands could donate on their own. As PSB continues to grow, we want to use our success to support the people and communities we work with.
